The Post Grad Certificate in Career Development at ACU is now CICA endorsed. The Bright and Associates 3-day course can provide graduates with 25% RPL into this CICA endorsed qualification. The 3-day course can be a first step to the minimum Professional Standard set by the industry.
When considering Career Development courses, be aware that unless a course is specifically endorsed by CICA there is no guarantee that it will meet Professional Standards. Endorsement can only be given after a lengthy and rigorous evaluation process by the CICA committee. Beware of phrases like “designed to meet the standards” only CICA can endorse PG Cert Courses. The ACU PG Cert has been endorsed by CICA, and therefore graduate qualified students completing the Bright and Associates 3-day course have the basis for 25% recognised prior learning into the Australian Catholic University Course (ACU).
At the time of writing (Oct 2010), the ACU courses are the only CICA endorsed courses from institutions based in New South Wales and Victoria.
Does ACU still offer the Graduate Certificate in Career Development? If so what is the cost and how can I enrol?
